- Selects event topics aligned with Exec. Committee (XC) direction
- Recommends candidates for speakers, panelists & moderators
- Provides pre-event direction to speakers, panelists & moderators
- Manages attendee registration process & questions
- Handles event logistics –location preparation, catering, A/V
- Prints & distributes badges, brochures
- Greets attendees & provides on-site event activity coordination
Marketing & Communications
- Defines and executes marketing strategy aligned w/ XC direction
- Manages marketing initiatives and external alliances
- Manages event-specific promotional activities.
- Manages master mailing lists
- Solicits event feedback
- Handles information requests
- Creates & issues press releases
- Creates content for brochures, website, mailings, advertisements
Manages web site operations
- Edits and publishes member newsletter in concert with Membership Director
Membership
- Manages membership program(s)
- Meets with membership representatives periodically to gauge their satisfaction & solicit member feedback
- Provides draft input for member newsletter
Sponsorship
- Manages sponsorship program(s)
- Handles 1st level sponsor questions; escalates as needed
- Meets with sponsor representatives periodically to gauge their satisfaction & solicit their feedback
Alliances
- Defines & executes alliance discussions with selected entities
- Manages alliance initiatives & relationships
