  • Recommends candidates for speakers, panelists & moderators
  • Provides pre-event direction to speakers, panelists & moderators
  • Manages attendee registration process & questions
  • Handles event logistics –location preparation, catering, A/V
  • Prints & distributes badges, brochures
  • Greets attendees & provides on-site event activity coordination

Marketing & Communications

  • Defines and executes marketing strategy aligned w/ XC direction
  • Manages marketing initiatives and external alliances
  • Manages event-specific promotional activities.
  • Manages master mailing lists
  • Solicits event feedback
  • Handles information requests
  • Creates & issues press releases
  • Creates content for brochures, website, mailings, advertisements
    Manages web site operations
  • Edits and publishes member newsletter in concert with Membership Director

Membership

  • Manages membership program(s)
  • Meets with membership representatives periodically to gauge their satisfaction & solicit member feedback
  • Provides draft input for member newsletter

Sponsorship

  • Manages sponsorship program(s)
  • Handles 1st level sponsor questions; escalates as needed
  • Meets with sponsor representatives periodically to gauge their satisfaction & solicit their feedback

Alliances

  • Defines & executes alliance discussions with selected entities
  • Manages alliance initiatives & relationships
